Haidi's journey

Fourteen years, one direction: build people who build businesses.

Haidi grew up in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. He started his career assessing industrial risks, learned to train and lead sales teams, built his own agency, and then used what he earned to start a group of companies.

2012

Graduates and joins MNRB Holdings

After a BBA (Hons) in Insurance at UiTM, he served his scholarship bond at Malaysian Reinsurance Berhad in the Special Rating and Technical Services department, working as a risk surveyor on commercial and industrial risks. The same year he started financial planning work part-time.
2014

First business on the side

While still employed, he started a part-time food and beverage trading business, building distribution channels for local products.
2016

From account manager to trainer

Placed with Takaful IKHLAS, he managed corporate direct accounts and went on to lead General Takaful training, supporting agency development nationwide.
2016

Leaves corporate life to build an agency

He founded Nadi Risk Consultancy, a takaful marketing agency covering General and Family Takaful and unit trusts. It was incorporated as Nadi Risk Group Sdn. Bhd. in 2018.
2019

Islamic Financial Planner

Completed the IFP certification programme under IBFIM and the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia.

2020–22

A Million Dollar Agency

During the pandemic the agency moved its education and sales online and passed RM3 million in contributions in 2020, then RM7 million in 2021–2022. It also helped private companies raise a combined RM110 million. In 2022 he was listed in Britishpedia's Successful People in Malaysia, 4th edition.

2022

Founds MHG Corporate Holdings

He set up an investment holding company in Senawang to put agency earnings to work in new businesses. MHG raised about RM1 million from early investors for its first ventures.
2023

A successful exit

He sold his takaful agency and moved into consulting, helping takaful operators and agency leaders build and develop their agency forces.
2024

Government supply

MHG registered with the Ministry of Finance and delivered its first government supply contracts.
2026

Training, consulting and research

He launched MHG Academy with eight training faculties, became Business Consultant to Phillip Care (May) and Management Partner of MTA Services Berhad (August). He is also completing a PhD at Universiti Malaya on risk governance and ESG for township development.

One holding company, five lines of business.

MHG Corporate Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is an investment holding company in Senawang, Seremban. It owns controlling stakes in its subsidiaries and aims to build a Shariah-compliant, technology-driven group with ESG at its core.

MHG Academy is the training arm of the group. It turns the group's field experience in risk, takaful and sales leadership into practical, competency-based programmes for corporations, GLCs, financial institutions, SMEs, cooperatives and public agencies.

How every programme works

Learn the skill, apply it at work, lead with results.

Each programme starts with a training needs analysis and ends with an evaluation report. Practice takes at least half of programme time, and every participant leaves with a competency assessment result.
